About Tinnitus

BellTinnitus is noises in the head/ears. It can be buzzing, ringing, hissing. For a massive 2.3 million people it is a chronic condition and The Medical Research Council reports that 3.3 million people have consulted their G.P with tinnitus.

There is a great deal of research being carried out which we as a group support. With no cure yet and a bewildering array of coping strategies many people continue to suffer and not in silence.

While there is no cure for the condition it can be managed to become less distressing.

GP's are not always well informed about the condition and all too often patients are not given the right support. Tinnitus is a neglected medical condition. Tinnitus can be seriously debilitating to the point of clinical depression.
